Although Sony used Memory Stick in scores of its stylish gadgets, from music players to the AIBO “entertainment robot,” it wasn’t until late 2000 that Epson, Lexar Media, and others pitched in with their own Memory Stick products. Sony’s MagicGate is a copy-controlled version, and the Duo is about one-third the size of the original Memory Stick.
